Freya Parr
Freya Parr is a clarinettist from Melbourne, studying with David Thomas and Jon Craven. She holds an Honours Degree in Music Performance from the University of Melbourne as well as Bachelor Degrees of Arts and Music from Monash University, and is a previous student of Dr Nicole Canham and Robert Schubert. Freya has performed with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Victoria, and has toured internationally playing Principal Bass Clarinet with the Australian Youth Orchestra. In 2026, she was the winner of the Hopkins Bradford Youth Concerto Competition and placed third in the Australian Youth Classical Music Competition. Freya is also a passionate chamber musician and soloist, and has enjoyed performing concertos by Mozart and Weber with the Melbourne Youth Orchestra, Monash Academy Orchestra, and Frankston Symphony Orchestra.
