About the orchestra

Led by our Acting Artistic Director Warwick Stengards and Concert Master Katriona Tsyrlin, the Mornington Peninsula Chamber Orchestra attracts the best professional and community musicians from the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding areas. The Orchestra was established in 2013 to offer classical musical opportunities to residents of the Mornington Peninsula.

With Community at the heart of its operations the Orchestra proudly expands to offer advanced students the opportunity to play with the group in its November concerts through its Student Participation Program. We continually strive to make our concerts inclusive.

MPCO’s passion is to create the highest calibre community-led classical music for our community.
