MPCO is a not-for-profit and registered charitable organisation. Each year, our orchestra endeavours to cover its operating expenses from its own resources and the generosity of donors and sponsors. The support of our community, businesses, and individuals is vital to the livelihood and success of the MPCO.

Ticket sales account for only a portion of our annual operating budget.
The remainder is provided by grateful sponsorship by local businesses and
generous donations from individuals.

Gifting to the Orchestra will help us in continuing to present performances of the highest standard and artistic integrity for the benefit of our community, and will enable us to give opportunities for younger musicians to develop and refine their orchestral and musical skills and perform in front of local audiences.

Any donations,  no matter how small, are greatly appreciated. All donations provide essential financial support in meeting our concert expenses and in assisting in the purchase or hire of music.

As a not-for-profit organisation operating for the benefit of our community, we rely on the continuing support of our audiences plus the generosity of local businesses and individuals to maintain its commitment to the community.

In return, our orchestra enhances the region’s quality of life and economic vitality by presenting a programme of concert performances and providing a valuable opportunity for young musicians of all ages to perform in our orchestra for appreciative local audiences.
